We're sorry to announce we will be cancelling our March 24-25th brace to small pack liscened trial. Due to some unforeseen circumstances and a last minute predator problem that was discovered, we saw fit to cancel this trial. We are taking an active and aggressive approach in correcting these issues and restoring our population and running grounds to have a super trial this fall in October. Some have already found out and we apologize for any inconveniences it may have caused. We ask that you pass this word out as much as you can. Thanks from Amelia..
Tidewater Beagle Club will be holding a judging seminar, on April 29th 2017, This Seminar is being put on by both Tidewater and Amelia Beagle clubs to hopefully generate plenty of interest. The seminar will be the regular as well as the advanced seminar, the advanced seminar will be held after the regular is over. It will be held at Tidewaters clubhouse and the kitchen will be open for lunch and will have coffee and doughnuts in the morning. The fee for the seminar will be $25 and the advanced seminar is $20. If you are interested in attending, please call either Dustin Burroughs (Tidewater BC): (804) 815 3635 or Reggie Redd (Amelia BC): (434) 390 4856. If you are interested in becoming a Field Judge or just interested in AKC field trialing, please plan on attending. This is a good time to become more familiar with the rulebook if you plan on participating in AKC field trials.
**RESULTS SPO Field Trial Oct. 28-29th**
We had some nice weather for our fall trial this year. We started the mornings off cool with temps rising to the mid 70's by the afternoon. We had plenty of good chases and we enjoyed the time spent with new friends and old. Miss Nikki served up some great BBQ & spaghetti and the fellowship was outstanding. We enjoyed having each and every one of you at our club and we hope you will return. A special thank you to our field and conformation judges and Amelia County members! Congrats to the hounds that finished for their FC title at our club and our members, Reggie Redd & Roger Huffmon, that placed at the trial!

2CP HUNT TEST TRIAL RESULTS:
It was downright hot and humid but the dogs worked hard and had some awesome chases. Combining the heat, thick cover, open woods and dry dirt paths made for a tough test for the dogs. Not only did we see awesome displays of packs using their gears but we also saw clean, powerful running in difficult conditions.
A big thank you to our judges, Greg Barnett and Mitchell Norris! Thanks to Thomas Jenkins for cooking those awesome hamburgers and hot dogs in the heat on the grill and our members who helped keep the trial running smooth. A big thank you to everyone who came out and supported our club!
