Rules Concerning Club Buildings and Grounds
1. Kennels- No member shall keep beagles at the club kennel for more than 24 hours without the approval of the Board of Directors except at licensed field trials.
2. Dogs- There shall be no dogs of any kind permitted in the club’s fenced running grounds at any time except beagles owned by regular members in good standing. No beagle shall exceed 15 inches in height.
3. Burning- There shall be no burning on the club grounds unless approved by the Board of Directors.
4. The club house and grounds at no time will be used for any event which does not have the approval of the Board of Directors.
5. No alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or intoxicated persons are allowed on club property.
6. Any member using alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs on club grounds shall be suspended until such time as the Board of Directors meets to consider disciplinary action.
7. No more than four (4) running beagles shall be allowed in the fenced running ground at one time except at events. Puppies under 1 year old and not yet started shall not be counted as part of the four (4) but total shall not exceed five (5) beagles.
8. Members wishing to run their beagles in club’s fenced running ground must sign in using the book provided by the club for this purpose. Each member is entitled to run for two (2) hours and then should check to parking lot to see if anyone else is waiting to run. If no one is waiting, members may continue to run as long as they wish providing no one comes to the club and desires to run. Upon completion of running, they shall sign out. Members entering a name on the sign-in book must be present in person to sign in. If a person has signed in but is not present to run dogs 15 minutes after the time he signed in for, he will be considered to have forfeited that time.
9. The running grounds may be closed by the Board of Directors at times to allow work, trapping and to take pressure off the rabbits.
10. Running grounds will be closed for at least 1 day before licensed field trials and at least 1 day after licensed trials.
11. Any member violating these rules shall be subject to losing his running rights for a period to be set by the Board of Directors.
